Lobell first caught the attention of Gagan through his father viewing our billboard for our recently completed, award winning, 124 Hillcrest Apartments (up the hill from Scotland Place). Gagan approached Louis about his vision for 11 Scotland Place, a complex property development that called for an experienced team and expert advise.
Throughout the COVID pandemic, Louis and Ellyse, Managing Directors made themselves available to Gagan either by zoom or face to face meetings. It was their quick response which immediately put Lobell above the other companies, interested and ready to advise, assured Gagan of Lobell’s dedication to their clients and projects.
"VERY WELL
10 OUT OF 10’’
Gagan commenting on Lobell's communications
Adding to his confidence was knowing Louis had carpentry experience, working onsite in his earlier days. With the council’s approval and Ian Thorn Architecture on board it was time to bring Scotland Place to life. As this was Gagan’s first development project, Lobell guided Gagan throughout the design and construction process.
Scotland Place, Hillcrest
Gagan was impressed with Ian and Lobell’s patience as they went over the design again and again until it was perfect.
It was July 2021 when Lobell first broke ground demolishing and removal of the existing two storied house onsite, then Leon Carr, one of Lobell’s top Manager’s was onsite overseeing the project. Shaye, an up and coming foreman was the main ‘’boots on the ground’’ forming a strong line of communication with Gagan. Mid-way through construction Gagan joint ventures with Weaver Developments. Gagan remained owner of two units which were designed slightly different, to his liking.
In 2022 the project was complete, 4 units attached, two stories high, brand new and fully furnished. Gagan’s expectations were surpassed with the overall design and build process. He continues to keep in contact with the Lobell staff such as Leon and Shaye, but most off all his relationship with the Managing Directors, Louis and Ellyse, who were ‘’very efficient’’. Gagan hopes to work with Lobell again in his future endeavors.
